Imagery

From Zhuangzi’s three kinds of sound — heaven’s, earth’s, and the human “reed” of wind through tubes. A deep, resonant yellow-green.

Origin

In the Zhuangzi the wind makes music three ways, and the human way is the sound of blown pipes. Zhuangzi himself draws the image of wind through a bamboo grove. As the turning colour it is the term’s green turning musical and slightly dark — summer at full volume.
