Producing a Film Festival Programme and Associated Regional Film Season
Thames River Film Festival
A bilingual festival programme, budget and partner pack produced as one coherent submission.
1The Challenge
Running a film festival means coordinating a programme book, a budget, sponsors and a curatorial narrative at once, and doing it bilingually when the content spans two markets. Submitting partner proposals alongside internal budget drafts, without a shared structure, makes the festival look less considered than it is and slows sponsor decisions.
2Our Approach
Festival Programme
Built the bilingual festival programme documentation covering line-up, venues, partners and schedule.
Budget Structure
Developed the festival budget framework so costs, sponsorship and contingency were visible in one place.
Curatorial Narrative
Set out the curatorial theme so sponsors and partners could understand the festival's positioning.
What We Delivered
Why It Worked
“Festivals succeed on credibility as much as films. Submitting programme, budget and curatorial rationale together shows sponsors a managed event rather than an idea.”
